Rhyme and reason

You might think I’m old fashioned

Or maybe out of time

But I like poems that flow well

And finish with a rhyme

This may not be to your taste

Can’t please you all the time

But every poem that I write

Will finish with a rhyme

Now if you find this irksome

One thing you must do

Remember that it flows well

So credit where it’s due

There’s always more than one way

To write a verse or line

But I will always try to

Finish with a rhyme
